About Company

D&M Flooring

We have successfully become one of the leading companies in the flooring industry by decisively meeting the wood flooring needs of the North American market. Manufacture and sourcing of a vast array of products – solid, engineered, smooth, brushed, fumed, carbonized, hand scraped – brings a total wood flooring package that addresses aesthetic and performance requirements of designers, architects and homeowners.

Superior quality is our mantra at D&M Flooring. Since 1995, we have been providing a rich and beautiful variety of quality floors. Available in a range of species, colors and styles, our flooring products will enhance the beauty of any interior. From contemporary to traditional styling, we have a floor that you will love for generations.

Green Commitment

We're deeply committed to delivering high-quality hardwood flooring while prioritizing environmental sustainability. All our wood products are Lacey Act compliant, sourced responsibly from legal and sustainable forests, and engineered to minimize waste. We have full control over our manufacturing process, ensuring optimal quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Our entire product range consists of Engineered Hardwood Flooring, known for its stability in diverse climates and reduced environmental footprint. This flooring type uses significantly less Oak lumber than solid Oak planks. We further conserve hardwoods like Oak, Maple, and Hickory by using rapidly growing woods such as Eucalyptus and Pine for the core. As we grow, we continue to strive for the production of safe, eco-friendly products. Our promise stands: Better Flooring, Better Living.

FloorScore ®

FloorScore® is a highly recognized certification standard for indoor air quality, applicable to hard surface flooring materials, adhesives, and underlayments. Developed by SCS and the Resilient Floor Covering Institute (RFCI), it’s acknowledged by various green building schemes, including LEED v4, WELL, BREEAM, and CHPS. Many of our products proudly hold this certification, affirming our commitment to quality and environmental sustainability.

TSCA - Toxic Substances Control Act

TSCA Imports of chemical substances, mixtures or articles that contain a chemical substance or mixture must comply with the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) in order to enter the U.S. Importers must certify that imported chemicals either comply with TSCA (positive certification) or, if not otherwise clearly identified as a chemical excluded from TSCA, are not subject to TSCA (negative certification).

CARB or CARB2 - California Air Resources Board

D&M Flooring adheres to CARB Phase II standards, ensuring our materials meet the California Air Resources Board’s requirements for airborne toxins control. All our engineered hardwood products use CARB Phase II compliant plywood, aligning with formaldehyde emission standards for composite wood products. Our finished products are tested in the US for low formaldehyde and indoor air quality, following the CDPH Standard Method Emission Testing 01350 or ASTM D6007.

Lacey Act – US Enacted Legislation

Lacey Act Compliant: A U.S. legislation which requires a declaration of all species and countries of origin or wood products at the port of entry. This ensures that the wood D&M sells is socially responsible, environmentally friendly, and not illegally logged or acquired.

LEED – Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design

IEQ Credit 4.4: Low-Emitting Materials – Composite Wood and Agrifiber Products (1 Point)
